Skewed and Reviewed have posted a positive review of the second film in the Hobbit Trilogy. They praise the FX and action but took exception to the numerous scenes, characters, and padding that were added to the film that were not featured in the book.

So am I wrong for appreciating the technical aspects of the film and the new scenes but also being bothered by the fact that they were included to pad the film and justify a third film?
They should keep it close to the book instead of changing it.
To me a third film was made simply for studio greed and to pad egos.
