From Slashfilm:
The Mouse House hasn’t officially announced a new Indiana Jones movie since it acquired Lucasfilm last fall, but it may have just gotten one step closer. Disney and Paramount announced today that they have reached a distribution and marketing agreement for the franchise, which gives the former rights to any future Indy films.
Shaz from FL writes: “Deepfake tech has been around for years, and Hollywood is no stranger to using it. But the new ‘Indiana Jones’ movie shows we need to be careful.”
Indiana Jones will once again face off against Nazis in the fifth installment.
It appears that legendary film composer, John Williams, may be stepping away from scoring motion picture sooner than we'd like.
Seems like it was only a matter of time before Disney bought this up as well. Perhaps this gives more credit to that rumor about Harrison Ford wanting in on the Indy 5 movie as part of his continuing Star Wars deal. Interesting.
As long as Shea doesn't come back, we should be good :)
