'Arrow' Gives Oliver Queen's Alter-Ego a Mask

EW

EW has your exclusive first look at Arrow’s brand new mask, which will make its debut on the show come December. But why the change? According to executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, the answer is multi-faceted. ”Conceptually, it was something we wanted to do because Oliver himself is evolving as the Arrow– from vigilante to hero, sort of from Arrow to Green Arrow — and we wanted to see that progression in his costume as well,” he said. “As Oliver is embracing being a hero, being a hero means stepping out of the dark and being more of a symbol, so he has to take steps to conceal his identity more.”

I wish they weren't putting a mask on him. I actually dig the paint. Somehow it's just more modern.

Although I liked the paint too this feels idk "right". I don't know what else to say lol xD

Yes, but hasn't he always worn a mask in comic history?

XisThatKid3802d ago

yea and falicity smoak and Dig wasn't in the comic neither was laurel at least not like this matter oof fact starling city to my knowledge doesn't exist either its just star city. Count Vertigo is a bit more than a drug dealer. Deathstroke wasn't involved the differences go on but it's still a pretty well developed series the way it's being done.

I think the mask looks a little silly but not quite as silly as him turning up as the arrow and neither Laurel or her Father recognizing him after how many times?

Such a crap program anyways!
