Truly spooky horror movies have been hard to come by in recent years. The genre is dominated by endless remakes, rip-offs, and reboots that bring little to no new ideas or scares to the table. The original Insidious didn’t exactly re-invent the haunted house/poltergeist film, but it did bring its own unique atmosphere and offered some genuinely scary moments. Insidious: Chapter 2 attempts to invoke the same spookiness, and while it succeeds at times, it falls victim to the sequel syndrome by trying to do and explain too much.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I still want to see this.. even though the reviews have been mostly mediocre
