Horror legend George A Romero reveals that he turned the chance to work on smash hit series, The Walking Dead
George A Romero, the father of zombies and the man who transformed the horror film with Night of the Living Dead, has revealed that he turned down the opportunity to work on the massive US television show, The Walking Dead.
The new adventures of Sam and Bucky are now available in a convenient, take home package.
Secrets of the Neanderthals Review: The Netflix documentary unearths some new discoveries about the Neanderthals, who disappeared off the face of Earth.
Clearly, this is the best way to watch this epic "Star Wars" show.
I like a lot of Romero's work, but his last 3 movies sucked. Land of the Dead was the worst of them all. I will admit that the introduction of "Fast Zombies" is utter crap though.
Yeah, the more that I think of it The Walking Dead should be more like the telltale video games, or perhaps American Horror Story. They could focus on one group of survivors per season; with little or no relation to the previous group. It would definitely keep the storyline from becoming stale(as it has).
Romero's absolutely right and thats why the show fails.
I don't think a Zombie story necessarily needs to feel important or have a message to be good. Return of the Living Dead is one of my favorite Zombie movies and it doesn't need to have a subtext.
The Walking Dead is a show about a bunch of incompetent people complaining about how difficult an Easy Mode Zombie Apocalypse is. They wouldn't last a DAY in Attack on Titan or The Last of Us!
And they keep killing all the good characters.
