Ehh, the previews made it look like a stereotypical "show" these days. It didn't look like it could do the movies justice.

Apparently I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover?

I dropped the show. It's boring as hell to me. I guess it's to damn soft or something.

I'm watching Homeland, Person of Interest, Arrow, The Originals, Blacklist, Mentalist, and i think thats it. I'm probably forgetting a show or 2.

I agree Simon_Brezhnev! I was hoping the show would get better after Fury's cameo in Episode 2 but it looks like I'll be watching something else now.

Completely agree, I watched the first 3 and it just isn't good, in contrast, Arrow got better as its first season progressed. I don't see Marvel following that path and they vocally make references to what happened in the avengers movie way too often. It's tack, coat-tailing on it in a bad way.

The Originals looks great, I kinda wish it was on HBO or some cable channel instead though, it feels more mature than The Vampire Diaries and public tv might be holding it back too much. Great so far though.

Elementary just started its second season after an amazing first season and that new show The Tomorrow People already looks great after only one episode. I'm still mixed on my thoughts about Sleepy Hollow.

No American Horror Story? You're missing out.

majiebeast1832d ago

Love Blacklist it has its flaws but damn James Spader is just an amazing actor and owns every scene he is in.

This show is just so bad the million references about the Avengers being thrown around. The terrible cast beside Coulson and the Asian Milf.

Arrow first 3 episodes were just so much better then Shield.

I hope Whedon can fix the show cause if it didnt have the Marvel name it would have been canned already.

Something is missing; obviously the superheroes, but the show could have been a little grittier.

Veni Vidi Vici1832d ago

Grittier would be nice but making it less corny would be my first priority.

majiebeast1832d ago

Having a better cast would be on my list besides Coulson and asian milf.

I know StarWarsFan! Isn't the show have no connection from Avengers movie and i hope it does well and not end up like Heros.

Last episode was cool. Villian in the making.

I can't help comparing this to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and even Firefly..

..even though I know this is **Marvel, it's not a Joss Whedon original idea.

Maybe I'm just so used to the wit and humour of those shows that deep inside me wants to also see in S.H.I.E.L.D., especially when I saw August Richards ( of Angel fame ).

I do find the show somewhat underwhelming, and do hope some major event happens to give the show a big pick-me-up boost.

Gut feeling tells me we might see a few actors' from any of Joss Whedon's TV-world be given bit/or main acting parts?
