'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Casts James Spader as the Film's Legendary Villain

From Marvel:

James Spader will face off against Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as the villain in Marvel’s "Avengers: Age of Ultron," the sequel to 2012’s record-breaking "Marvel’s The Avengers." The Emmy Award-winning actor will play Ultron in the Avengers’ much anticipated return to the big screen from writer/director Joss Whedon. The film comes to theaters on May 1, 2015.

This could be interesting. I like Spader and think he could be a menacing villain. I wonder what this means for yesterday's rumor though.

I like him too. I'm sure he'll be great. He's always been one of my favorite character actors. I'm going to love him in his new show on NBC 'The Blacklist'.

Great pick! One of the best underrated actors around.

Very popular during the 80's and remember him usually being cast as the bad guy opposite Andrew McCarthy - Less Than Zero, Pretty In Pink, Mannequin.

Fantastic in Crash and Secretary.
