CBM: If you missed the film in theaters, check out 10 minutes of Tom Cruise (Jack Reacher) in Joseph Kosinski's (TRON: Legacy) sci-fi feature "Oblivion" courtesy of Universal Pictures. The film was a pleasant surprise in a somewhat disappointing summer season.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
"Somewhat disappointing summer season"....Really?! On the whole I've felt like this has been one of the better Summer seasons that we've had in a while. Lots of good movies and great scores all around.
And honestly, I enjoyed Oblivion, but it's far from being one of the better Summer films. It was filled with so many plot-holes it's ridiculous, and overall didn't do anything unique with the genre. It was fun and entertaining, but so many other things this Summer trumped it.
Seems alright. Still deciding if I should buy this on DVD or not.
