Blood Ties Trailer - Amazing Cast For This Period Thriller

Clickonline writes: "The film comes from Guillaume Canet, the French director of Tell No One and marks his English language debut. It's a familar enough tale, with Owen as a criminal and Crudup as his cop brother. We're willing to bet things get messy."

U.S. Trailer & Poster For Guillaume Canet's 'Blood Ties' Starring Clive Owen, Marion Cotillard

The Playlist:
Certainly, replicating the look of '70s New York City is easy enough — just make everything bigger. The hair, the jeans, the attitude...if you wear it all with confidence and a bit of flamboyance, you can pull it off. And while "Blood Ties" has the look of a Sidney Lumet or William Friedkin movie of the period, it doesn't quite capture the essence of those films. But there are plenty of reasons why should check out it.

This one has a really good cast and vibe to it. I like Clive Owens a lot and the plot looks different.

First Images Of Clive Owen, Mila Kunis, Matthias Schoenaerts In 'Blood Ties'

The Playlist:
Earlier this year, we had heard that Guillaume Canet's "Blood Ties" was nearing the finish line, and thus we included it on our list of films that may show up at the Cannes Film Festival. And perhaps this is a further indication that when the lineup is unveiled later this week, the French filmmaker's English-language effort will be among the titles getting the red carpet treatment.

mila kunis alone is already a good reason to see this film. clive owen recently is in dormant or maybe he is getting under the radar movies. this film also has a strong supporting cast. the older brother-younger brother type of story is very common now but ill still check this movie out.
