Mortal Instrument: City of Bones, the first movie in the series, doesn’t come out until August, but buyers will get a taste for its sequel during Cannes. Stars Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower are returning for part two, The Mortal Instruments: City Of Ashes, as is director Harald Zwart, and a fall start is planned. As it did with the first, Mister Smith Entertainment is selling the adaptation of the second book in Cassandra Clare’s fantasy series that’s produced by Constantin Film and Unique Features.
