Thanks to movies like Pacific Rim and of course Godzilla, it seems as if projects featuring giant monsters are on the upswing; and as far as we're concerned, that's a pretty awesome thing. Know who else thinks it's awesome? Director J.J. Abrams.
In a recent interview with Playboy, Abrams had the following to say about the aforementioned flicks as well as a possible sequel to Cloverfield.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Yes, a Cloverfield sequel is a must, but please, without the friggin "running around with a camera" sequel... Nobody likes those.
That would be cool, i actually liked the first movie.
Cloverfield and Super 8 had terrible monsters design, generic and boring. No character at all.
I'd love that.
cloverfield 2 is not a bad idea, ill watch it if ever it comes out, but i wont be looking forward to it. i like the film but i am really more into godzilla.
