ScreenCrush: There have been rumors that ‘Man of Steel‘ director Zack Snyder and Ruben Fleischer (‘Zombieland’) were frontrunners to direct Warner Bros. planned ‘Justice League‘ movie. Because he says Snyder already has the job.
As the ‘Man of Steel’ buzz gets stronger and stronger, it shouldn’t be surprising that Warner Bros. is looking for Snyder to return and direct the ‘Justice League’ movie. Shaz from GL takes a new look into the broader themes of one of Pixar's oldest animated feature films.
From what I've seen of Man of Steel, he seems to have a really good understanding of balancing the action and the drama of the Superman character so I think he'd be the perfect fit for the Justice League movie. My only problem would be him directing Justice League holding him back from making any future Man of Steel sequels.
Not many directors can helm such a large scale film, if Man of Steel is a hit, then give Snyder the reins.
Well Zack pretty much nailed it with 300 and Watchmen. So i think hes a great pick for a JL movies.
i hope he would eventually helm that said project but its to early to talk about justice league when only superman and batman are the only characters that are getting success in the big screen, they have to do flash and wonder woman at least. i also hope nolan will still be attached when justice league will get a green light.
before everyone getting all hype up. let's just wait til Man of Steel first. we don't know how the film turn out to be yet, either it's good or bad. if it's good, then Snyder should proceed. if it's bad, then they should find a new director other than Snyder and Nolan
