Best Horror Movies Says: The idea behind All Superheroes Must Die is fairly interesting: a group of former friends, now estranged from one another and (seemingly) jaded, superheroes, wake to find that they’ve been drugged and kidnapped. Their powers have been rendered useless due to the effects of the drug, and their captor has put them in a position which will force them to the edge of their physical abilities.
All Superheroes Must Die, written and directed by Jason Trott, is about four superheroes whose superpowers were nullified by an injection by the notorious “Rickshaw” and were left in an abandoned town. But why did Rickshaw leave the four superheroes in this town with no superpowers? Simply put, Rickshaw is their arch nemesis and is tired of losing, thus he set up a series of “missions” to test the superheroes with the ultimate goal of death.

Not sure why the release schedule dried up this week but it’s pretty slim pickings out there. The new release schedule fairs somewhat better than the catalog titles but that’s not saying a whole lot. Fans of the offbeat comedy In Bruges will be happy, as will fans fans of the biggest found footage franchise in the world. Adam Sandler’s newest comedic abortion arrives on Blu-ray in both two and three dimensions while the newest film from the new Superman arrives on Blu-ray much like it did in theaters… DOA. With regards to the catalog titles we see the release of Ridley Scott’s first film, an Ethan Hawke space adventure, and a shameless double dip of one of an action series classic.
Great story idea, I will need to watch this one.
