Deadline:
FX’s new drama series The Americans will premiere on Jan. 30, airing in the Wednesday 10 PM slot where the cable network currently airs American Horror Story: The Asylum. The Americans is a period drama about the complex marriage of two KGB spies (Matthew Rhys, Keri Russell) posing as Americans in suburban Washington D.C. shortly after Ronald Reagan is elected President. Tensions heighten upon the arrival of a new neighbor, Stan Beeman (Noah Emmerich), an FBI agent. The Americans was created by Joe Weisberg (Falling Skies), a former CIA agent-turned-author. Weisberg, Joel Fields, Graham Yost and Amblin TV’s Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank executive produce for Fox TV Studios and FX Prods. Here is the series’ first trailer, which was released last month.
Chillopedia: Sometimes, the most hated characters seen on TV can fall into either side of the spectrum. So, here are 15 of the most hated TV characters of all time.
The Doomsday Cult of Antares De La Luz Review: The documentary explores how the cult members were coerced in the group and made accomplice of heinous crimes.
Don’t let the cringey awkwardness of The Office fool you: Michael Scott would actually be the perfect boss.
I hope the writers are good because this is the type of stories I like to watch but the actors have to do their part and the writing has to be very good for them to make it believable.
