CBM: Most fans of Christopher Nolan's Batman universe were hoping that in the third film the Caped Crusader would finally have a physical challenge, and with Tom Hardy's Bane, he did. One of the many highlights of The Dark Knight Rises was the much anticipated showdown between the two. And even though Batman (Christian Bale) puts up an honorable effort, it is Bane who comes out on top.
