Not sure why the release schedule dried up this week but it’s pretty slim pickings out there. The new release schedule fairs somewhat better than the catalog titles but that’s not saying a whole lot. Fans of the offbeat comedy In Bruges will be happy, as will fans fans of the biggest found footage franchise in the world. Adam Sandler’s newest comedic abortion arrives on Blu-ray in both two and three dimensions while the newest film from the new Superman arrives on Blu-ray much like it did in theaters… DOA. With regards to the catalog titles we see the release of Ridley Scott’s first film, an Ethan Hawke space adventure, and a shameless double dip of one of an action series classic.
