This week's Boardwalk chapter, titled "The Milkmaid's Lot"(named after a Elizabeth I quote regarding how life sucks at the top), focused directly on the aftermath of the giant explosion at Babette's from last week, with a seriously concussed and confused Nucky trying to rally together potential allies for a war against Gyp. Meanwhile, Gyp headed back to good ol' Tabor Heights in an attempt to show Masseria his beachfront bootlegging operation, and to a take a potential checkmate spot on the chessboard. Overall, this episode felt like a ton of set up for more exciting things to come, all while having the final members of Nucky's family and friends move closer to abandoning him completely.
