Huffingington Post: "John C. Reilly has enjoyed one of the most fascinating career shifts of any actor working today. Once know for dramatic roles -- Reilly appeared in "Boogie Nights," "Magnolia," "Gangs of New York," "The Hours" and was Oscar-nominated for "Chicago" in 2002 -- things changed after he co-starred with Will Ferrell in 2006's "Talladega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby." Or, as Reilly says, "the cat came out of the bag on that one."
I personally liked him better as a voice over. He did Ralph well.
To be entirely honest, the cast behind Wreck It Ralph isn't appealing to me. The fact that it was animated and their voice overs were great is what made it awesome though
I remember watching Talladega Nights like a dozen times back in school. Then seeing him in movies like Magnolia and Thin Red Line. Guy is definitely talented.
