This last week has been a huge week for the film industry giant, Disney. The huge news first broke last week with the acquisition of Lucasfilm, which was for a reported $4.05 billion. Disney also released plans to revamp the Star Wars series with a release of a seventh installment of the franchise in 2015, and releasing two more films in the following few years. This has been met with some criticism from die hard fans of the series, but when it comes down to it, it’s all about the capital potential for Disney. So in this case, Disney will most likely come out on top in the long run.
