The Walking Dead: "Killer Within": IGN Review

IGN:
“Killer Within” was one hell of an episode, and perhaps the most shocking thing about it is that it happened so early in the season. This is only episode four of a sixteen episode season! You’d think they’d at least save something like this for the midseason finale in a few weeks, but The Walking Dead producers sure are stepping up this season and saying, “Oh, you thought last year was too slow-paced? How about this!?”

This was the most shocking and stressful episode ever! I couldn't believe the ending and still can't get it out of my head....great show...can't wait to see what happens next week.

Rick's character has been through so much. So sad.

Ryto4213d ago

All I could think was, I bet he hates himself so much for being so cold to lori. Especially when he was on that bridge with her and she asked if he loved her.
Man, really broke my heart that episode.

Can clearly tell the son is gonna go renegade now and cause some serious problems!

same here, there's just so many things that has happened in this episode. i didn't expect those and their approach is a lot different than the comics. it's just episode 4 and we got a lot of (**spoilers**) deaths!!!!!!, i thought that those things will happen when they clash with the governor.

alycakes4214d ago

Now there is just no telling what's going to happen when they do finally meet that governor...he is bad news.

timmyp534214d ago

And Andrea looks to be duped by him too. Just asking for conflict...

Soldierone4214d ago

According to the producers, they were tossing around letting it last till the end of the season, but they have bigger plans for that. Makes you wonder what.

SPOILERS
They also keep mentioning "If the governor came across them before Lori and Tdog dying, they (Ricks group) would dominate them. Now that Rick is in a new mindset, who knows what will happen"

Spoilers:

Are you saying Rick's group is now weaker after Lori dying? The way you worded it makes it sound like it.

Soldierone4213d ago

Thats the way they are making it seem. Not so much because Lori was a strength, but Rick was in a mindset of "I'm going to Eff anything and everyone" and now he is kind of lost and second guessing his decisions. Because overall it was his "hard" decision that lead to her dying.

Tdog also took a man out of their circle, so they lost some of their combat style and reliability. They now need to train Oscar to fill that gap.

******SPOILERS IN THE WHOLE POST******

SHANE WALSH HAS BEEN AVENGED!

Carl's now offed 2 of my least favorite characters. Lori annoyed me in the comics, and annoyed me in the show. Gonna miss T-Dog though.

listenkids4213d ago

He's had about 8 lines since season 1.

Lord_Sloth4213d ago

And he made a good impression with those 8 lines. Lori had a great many lines and was still unlikable.

this is how you do a interesting movie shocking at every corner well done. now what's next? mmmmmm!!!! i hate that Lory face.
