Geek Binge: The second episode of Arrow does a commendable job of letting us know what we can expect (and not expect) in the episodes moving forward. Will we get more of the campiness we saw in the pilot? Yes. Will it continue to have the vibe of some sort of soap opera superhero saga? Affirmative. Will Laurel Lance continue to be somewhat annoying? You bet. Will red shirt baddies still shoot at everything BESIDES the Arrow himself? Of course! Will the show give us villains that make us fear for the Arrow’s safety? LOL. No. But will the show continue to engage us with subplots and cliffhangers that will keep us engaged for the next episode? So far, so good.
