Most Weird Television Shows For Kids Ever

Chillopedia | Like most members of our generation, we spent each afternoon after school dutifully watching the TV. Sure, there were after school clubs and sleepovers, but for the post part CITV and CBBC – chunks of weird television shows for kids featuring everything from talking aardvarks to evil mastermind mice – kept us company, and while we pretended to complete our homework at the same time, we only ever had eyes for the TV.

Danger Mouse Cast Includes Lena Headey and John Oliver


Earlier this year, it was announced that revival of the hit 80s series “Danger Mouse” was in the works, and now the BBC has revealed the addition of two more stars to the Danger Mouse cast with “Game of Thrones” star Lena Headey and “Last Week Tonight” host John Oliver.

Danger Mouse to Return in Reboot via Netflix

Hyper Focused Media's Carl Williams writes, "Danger Mouse is a classic British cartoon that received a North American release in the early 80’s to early 90’s. What was interesting about Danger Mouse was that it was not your normal kiddie fare, there were more mature jokes, bombs, race cars and the like. These things were nearly unheard of in American grown children’s cartoons such as Bugs Bunny and other Looney Toons shows (though BB featured Elmer Fudd and his rifle prominently). Danger Mouse was more of a riff on James Bond and the whole spy movie/television show mantra and it was not ashamed of it."
