Sony Shuffles Its Sci-Fi Spectacles: Elysium Set for August 2013, Well Robocop Gets Pushed to 2014

Geek Binge: So far, we’ve seen very little of Neil Blomkamp’s follow up to District 9, Elysium. We got one imagine of Matt Damon looking like Vin Diesel and, aside from the Comic Con peeps who got to see the early footage, that’s about it. Robocop, on the other hand, hasn’t had the most secretive of shots, with scripts, set pictures, and more being leaked in just a mere few weeks of filming. Despite that, we’ll be seeing Elysium almost half a year sooner than Robocop, as Sony shifts that remakes date out of Summer 2013.
