Vicki Dolley writes: "With all the rich material and talented animators to hand providing a ghoulish visual treat, it’s a shame that the writing and some of the performances let down what could have been one of the most imaginative, memorable cartoon features this year. Sadly, it seems that the writing is even more skeletal than the boned creatures that frequent Dracula’s hotel sanctuary."
