IGN:
We are only at episode two and I already like this season more than the back half of last year. In “What’s Up, Tiger Mommy?”, Sam and Dean got talked into rescuing Kevin’s mom from Crowley’s demon watchdogs and she ended up inviting herself along for the ride as they searched for the tablet.
It shouldn’t have been a surprise that Mrs. Tran (Friends and Futurama's Lauren Tom) turned out to be tougher than the boys expected; after all, Kevin was more resourceful than they thought he would be too. The reunion of mother and son was both heartfelt and comical. I loved that the touching moment when she first saw Kevin again, complete with swelling music, was interrupted by Sam and Dean tossing holy water on Mrs. Tran just to be sure she wasn’t possessed. Supernatural can do that joke as many times and they like and it is always good for a laugh.
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
This was a special episode and I even missed Criminal Minds to watch it...I never miss Criminal Minds! We're finding out more and more about Deans time in Purgatory and it was a lot more than expected....only time will tell how he really came out of it.
