Well, it's back to the starting blocks—again—for Warner Bros. forever developing "A Star Is Born" as Beyonce has left the building.
It was back at the beginning of 2011 that the remake got new life at the studio when Clint Eastwood and Beyonce boarded as director and star, but things quickly stalled out. A number of prospective male leads were rumored/wanted including Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, Tom Cruise and most recently Bradley Cooper. Production also hit a roadblock when Beyonce was pregnant with Blue Ivy, and Eastwood went off to shoot "Trouble With The Curve."
Nekki has announced that the forthcoming gun fu game, SPINE, will receive a movie adaptation to expand the franchise.
Anthracite Review: This Netflix thriller makes us go down several engaging roads and the twists and turns are delicious.
Stolen Review: Elle Márjá Eira makes an attempt at creating a story revolving Sámi people of Sweden.
I wasn't going to see this anyway. This was done before and it's just not my cup of tea.
