Hot Exclusive Teaser Trailer: Rob Zombie’s ‘The Lords of Salem’

Deadline

Rob Zombie’s The Lords Of Salem was one of the splashier deals at the recent Toronto Film Festival, where Anchor Bay acquired distribution for around $2 million after the film played a raucous Midnight Madness premiere. Now, Zombie has made a teaser for the film that will be released next spring. While Zombie is a heavy metal icon, he’s chosen an operatic style of music to accompany the imagery for a film that stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Bruce Davison, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Ken Foree, Patricia Quinn, Dee Wallace and Judy Geeson. He still directing after those horrendous remakes of Halloween? Sad this guy cannot direct for his life or Sing, hes a talentless hack.

Rob Zombie is the most overrated director today. Shock value whore... Not to mention his fan club consists of all those kids you didn't want to talk to in high school.

That's funny...I don't recall anyone saying he was some second coming of Spielberg ever.

I'll admit that House of 1000 corpses fell flat fast, but he improved dramatically with the Devils Rejects (despite it being a sequel it felt like a new series all together). I really like being able to see Michael Myers as a kid turning into a killer.

Where do you see "Shock Value Whore" in any of his movies? You want Shock value, look no further than anything Eli Roth has done. Now that is what you call a "Shock value whore"

I was enjoying his movies for a little while, then Halloween or whatever came into my view and I lost interest entirely. He is just ruining things with remake crap now, just like Michal Bays studio is.....

Anyone see the animated remake idea for Halloween? Now that is a good remake idea.....it was completely different and a new approach entirely.

I did see that animated proof of concept and thought it was pretty sweet too.
