Geek Binge: Of all the sitcoms currently on television, I think How I Met Your Mother is the most under-appreciated. Sandwiched between filth like Two and a Half Men and Mike and Molly, the show gets a negative rap for being another “shitty” CBS sitcom. But really, it isn’t. How I Met Your Mother has always been a show about doing cool and interesting things with the sitcom genre (similar to ANOTHER, much more geek beloved show on NBC), in addition to being a hilarious, sweet, and very clever TV series. That said, things have been taking a turn for the worse over the past few years, for one reason and one reason alone: it’s simply been going on for way too long.
