From Deadline:
Universal Pictures is setting Len Wiseman to direct The Mummy, the reboot of a franchise whose most recent incarnation grossed $1.25 billion over three films. Jon Spaihts is writing the script and the studio is eyeing a potential summer 2014 release, so things are moving quickly, with Universal eager to ramp back up one of its most venerable franchises.
The latest "Deadpool & Wolverine" trailer gave us a glimpse at the MCU's golden boys kicking butt and taking names - as well as a whole mess of Easter eggs.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Cool. I like the franchise. I wouldn't mind seeing another with the same cast though.
A re-boot? What was so wrong with the original that it needs a re-boot? Oh that's right NOTHING. Hollywood just being lazy and running out of ideas.
I really liked the first couple of Mummy Films. The third one wasn't that great, but I always kind of liked the franchise. Hopefully this one will turn out to be decent.
len wiseman is the director of underworld as i remember, a franchise that started out good and became a tired routine as time goes. i would expect the same if he will indeed reboot the mummy franchise. leave the old version alone or better yet try to make a remake instead of a reboot
personally it doesnt matter to me either way i like the old one and i like the idea of what the reboot will be
this isnt something i can just make a decision on so easly so needless to say i'll just throwa big piece of meat on the ground and let 2 lions fight over it to see who comes out on top
