Thor: The Dark World Adds Supporting Actors

/Films:
Thor: The Dark World will be the second film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase Two when it hits theaters on November 8, 2013. Director Alan Taylor has been shooting for several weeks now with a cast including newcomers Christopher Eccleston as the main villain Malekith, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje in a dual role and many others along with returning cast members Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins and the rest.

It’s still very early in production though, early enough that casting is still ongoing. Clive Russell, best known for playing the murderous Joe Chill in Batman Begins, has been cast Thor’s older brother Tyr and Richard Brake, who will play Ser Brynden the Blackfish in the upcoming season of Game of Thrones, is a captain in Thor’s Einherjar fighting force.

My GF wants to see this movie more than I just because of Chris Hemsworth, so I don't think she cares who else appears in it haha

the thor franchise looks to be heading to a bright future. i know sequels are being overly criticized however there are a few sequels that solidify the franchise and setting it up for a trilogy. if the already great supporting cast like anthony hopkins, natalie portman and tom hiddelston will still hang around and more under the radar but talented actors will be added then were in for a gratitious sequel.
