Geek Binge: Steven Spielberg's Lincoln is definitely a film that has been on our radars for quite a while now. First gestating as a biopic starring Liam Neeson, the project took a while to get off the ground, causing Neeson to drop out. But director Steven Spielberg wouldn't quite—he was determined to bring his Lincoln movie to theaters. And now, the film is set for release this October, with Daniel Day Lewis taking on the momentous task of playing our nation's 16th President. I think it looks kind of interesting. I'm curious to see another take on Lincoln, but at the same time, it's not exactly high on my list of priorities. I think it will deliver though.
