Resident Evil: Retribution is heading to 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on September 14th and Sony Pictures has just released a new TV spot that you can check out in the player below. What's more, the viral campaign (which we first reported on back in May) has taken a strange turn with the fictional Umbrella Corporation issuing the following press release:

The Umbrella Corporation announced today that it has filed with the Global Exchange and Securities Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its common stock - ($500,000,000) shares at $25 per share. Shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on September 14, 2012 under the symbol "BLIFE.”
