I seem to recall all kinds of early set reports that showed things but don't recall seeing where those images would have fit into the final product. Hopefully it's embedded in the movie. I hate when they don't put the scenes in the movie.

Yes!! Thank god. I feel this is one area where nolan didn't handle as well as he could have. That twist at the end just felt a bit...meh. And after all the doom and everything, Bane deserved a better send-off over just a quick blow-up-his-guts by a last-minute catwoman (even though she's still pretty hot). But the rest of the movie was awesome. :D

The Amazing Spider-man needs one of these.

Absolutely, but I don't see that happening either. I vaguely recall them talking about that stuff being cut because they wanted to save more of those issues for a sequel.

Some of the parts missing from previews and trailers involved Lizard, as well as that doctor who just disappears (can't remember his name). Can't see that footage being used for sequels, although the Doctor might so I can see why he is cut out if true.

I seriously doubt that this will happen. Nolan is one of those guys who believes that what's on the screen is the definitive version of the movie—which is why he never released the deleted scenes for Dark Knight. Why would he just change his mind for Rises?

darklordzor4247d ago

Yep, I agree. He's said this many times in fact in regards to his other films. I can't see him doing a director's cut version of this film. Would it be cool, sure, but I'm not holding my breath for it.
