An ambitious thriller with much to admire, but it’s open for debate how compelling it is; what's ultimately revealed is logistically implausible, emotionally weighty, and likely to divide audiences in their sociopolitical beliefs.

At seventeen years old, actor Jodelle Ferland already has quite an impressive resume of films and television shows she's starred in. Anyone looking at the movies she's been in will notice an abundance of genre films like Silent Hill, Carrie, The Messengers, and The Cabin in the Woods. Ferland expanded her fanbase even further when she appeared in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse as Bree the vampire.
Her latest role alongside Jessica Biel in director Pascal Laugier's The Tall Man is nothing short of excellent and should garner her even more attention from the movie industry. I had the opportunity of interviewing Ferland about her role as Jenny in The Tall Man. The movie is available now on Blu-ray and DVD.

This is going to be a good suspense mystery thriller. I like watching those just for fun sometimes.

Thanks to Vlicious, we have an international (French) trailer for the film The Tall Man, which we featured the first poster for earlier this week. The film is called The Secret in France, written & directed by Pascal Laugier (Martyrs), starring Jessica Biel and Jodelle Ferland, about a guy who takes children. This trailer is way better than I was expecting. It looks totally chilling and unsettling, but also surprisingly well-made. There's a very tense vibe to it, and I'm curious to find out what's really going on. Check this out!
This looks so good...I like Jessica Biel anyway and I didn't even know about this movie but the trailer looks very interesting and something I would go see.
