I really hate saying this, and I always get booed by other nerds for it...but I haven't watched any Doctor Who. Yep, I just never got around to seeing it.
Not necessarily a remake, but one of the first episodes was "the three doctors." Apparently something so big happened that it took the first three incarnations of The Dr. to deal with it.
So maybe get Eccleston, Tennant, and Smith together for this movie. The three most recent Doctors.
