Hitfix:
With the recent revelation that classic X-Men storyline "Days of Future Past" would serve as the basis for the upcoming "X-Men: First Class" sequel (now titled, appropriately enough, "X-Men: Days of Future Past"), we couldn't help but wonder what actors from the original trilogy might pop up in cameo appearances. After all, the time-traveling nature of the "Future Past" concept certainly lends itself to the idea of older versions of Vaughn's crop of characters coming-face-to-face with their youthful counterparts.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Marsden's Cyclops is the one I agree with most. He got shafted in Last Stand, but I thought he was excellent as the character, and deserves another go round as the mutant, even if it's just a cameo.
If I must say, I find it incredibly lazy of them to introduce such a major tonal shift from the first film by introducing a time travel element. They've basically given themselves a liscense to disregaurd everything that happened in the first film. This will be nothing but a complete departure from what they established in the first film.
That being said, I don't really mind because it's always been one of the better storylines in the X-Men universe, but only if they have the balls to do the setinels properly. You can pretty much fill in the rest of the gaps with whatever you see fit.
They should probably just leave the original trilogy alone and let it be forgotten. 2 was a pretty damn good movie, but they really lost the reigns with 3.
connect it or not connect it to the original trilogy, this sequel will still be good (i hope so..)
regarding the list, my top choice would be Ian Mckellen and Patrick Stewart. i would also like Hugh Jackman but he already did a cameo on the first one
I thought X-Men: First Class one was okay. I don't think it was as amazing as it was hyped up to be. I don't believe the cast was strong enough overall.
