Movie Ticket Prices Reach New High in U.S. and Canada

LA Times:
If you thought going to the movie theater was more expensive this year, you weren't imagining it.

Average ticket prices in the U.S. and Canada climbed to an all time high in the second quarter, reaching $8.12, up from $7.92 in the first quarter and $8.06 in the second quarter of 2011, according the National Assn. of Theatre Owners.

thus why i always go on tuesday unless i got a free ticket or i am using my scene points card if i wanted too but im saving that up for the days i really cant afford to spend like i can now

I'm in Texas and I still have my Tuesdays and Wednesdays that I can get in for $5. They also have a theater that you can get 3D for $7 before 6pm. which isn't bad.

I guess it's when you want to go or when you're able to go. This is for those that are able to go before the hour of 6pm.
