Director and screenwriter Christopher Nolan may have set out with too much ambition for "The Dark Knight Rises" ("TDKR"), but he still delivers a very intense and enjoyable experience. It may not be quite the movie Batman fans deserve, but at the very least it's the one they need to close out the trilogy.
Set eight year’s after the events of the previous movie, “TDKR” quickly gets viewers up to speed. Batman (Christian Bale) has not been seen since the murders he is suspected of committing. By taking the blame for these, he was able to preserve Harvey Dent’s image, and the citizens of Gotham City have rallied with Dent in mind. After passing the Dent Act, organized crime is eradicated from Gotham. So while Batman has vanished, his presence seems to have become unnecessary.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
