With the popularity of Kickstarter and IndieGoGo, crowd-funded projects seem to be over-saturating our virtual lives right now. With the ease of advertising via Facebook, Twitter and every other slice social media available, it feels as if we are constantly being asked to give money to a cause, to fund some one’s film, or book, or comic, or, well the list goes on... Consequently a lot of these projects end up being funded by friends or family, which can feel like the equivalent of asking for money on your birthday or your pocket money in advance. So it is refreshing to find a project which truly inspires the anonymous masses to fund it, simply because they want to see it made. Grim: A Tale of Death is one of those projects.
