The Collider:
One of the best films I saw at this year’s Sundance Film Festival was Bart Layton’s incredible documentary, The Imposter. The movie heavily employs dramatic re-enactments to tell the bizarre true story of 23-year-old Frédéric Bourdin, who posed as Nicholas Barclay, a San Antonio boy who was missing for three years. If you’re wondering how a family would be unable to recognize their own child, we’ve been sent an exclusive clip where the Barclays explain why they chose to believe Bourdin was their son. The Imposter will probably be the best thriller of 2012, and I highly encourage you to check it out when it comes to a theater near you. Click here to read my full review.
Hit the jump to check out the clip. The Imposter opens in limited release on July 13th.
Director Bart Layton centres his camera on a story that shocked the world, a story that to this day remains as one of the greatest cases of identity theft that America has ever seen. A young Frenchman found in Spain convinces the Dollarhide family of Texas that he is their missing son/sibling, not only the family but the American Immigration service as well...
Thanks for using the time and effort to write something so interesting.

FilmFracture:
Another year has gone by at FilmFracture and it has been full of great movies, mediocre trips to the cinema, and some downright awful wastes of time. With that said, here are the best and worst movies of 2012. I must warn you, our choices for the best movies may come as quite a shock--who would have thought a Troma picture would make a best of list?
Ted and Spidy were two of my favourite films of the year, and I complete disagree with the writer putting Les Mis in the worst section, it was outstanding.
I pretty much have to agree with the list. Sure some odd ones here and there, but I'm not a musical fan so Les would be down there for me too.
I just watched "The Beasts of the Southern wild".
It was very unique, and heart touching.
I suggest everyone check it out if you're looking for something different.
Disagree with Prometheus being among the best. Dark Knight Rises, Skyfall or the Hobbit instead! But I liked that they put Ted among the best. That is one funny movie.
Creepier than Catfish and as cinematic as Man On Wire, this is an unnerving story immaculately told and a strong contender for doc of the year.
This would be truely weird but how can someone be so wrong about who their son is?
really interesting..a documentary that relies heavily on tension ..a breathe of fresh air to its genre
