Brad of The Daily Rotation wrote, "It was May 2002, the first summer blockbuster season after the tragic events of 9/11. If the world ever needed a hero, especially one so entwined with that fateful New York City, it was now. After years in b-movie splatter, Sam Raimi delivered with the first big budget Spider-man movie. After a few sequels and over $2 billion in box office receipts, the franchise went dead for nearly 5 years. Now, Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) brings his own unique vision to the Spiderman mythos on July 3rd.
Here’s what you do to get ready."
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Can't wait to check this film out again. Thanks for the list!
You can count me in for this film!
From what I've read, the best thing to do in preperation for the movie is to lower your expectations...
All Spiderman fans should go see this if they thought Raimi's Spiderman was too cheeky and silly. If you thought Raimi's version was the pinnacle of superhero movies, this might not do it for you. It draws heavily from the "Ultimate Spiderman" comic, so if you enjoyed that run, you'll enjoy the movie. I'll definitely go see a sequel.
