Could Josh Hartnett Be Daredevil?

CBM

This is sketchy, but worth speculating upon. A Twitter exchange between Slade and fan might just have given us an idea as to which actor - one Slade has worked with previously - the director would like to see play Matt Murdock in his reboot.

Interesting but was Slade responding to the 'getting back to work on the movie' part of the tweet or the Hartnett part? Well played response on his end.

Come to think of it - Hartnett hasnt done much lately but he just might be a decent choice for the role. I think he'd have to bulk up some because he is pretty slender but that would be a sweet decision.

SHA4328d ago

We would rather see a no-name, new face actor play the role instead of another known actor. Just our take though.

krisq4327d ago

This approach didn't work for Superman Returns and Brandon Routh.

Crazay4328d ago

Like a complete and total unknown or a "What movie did I see that guy in?" sorta actor?

SHA4328d ago

Either works just as long as it's not a well-known name or big-name actor.

I loved Daredevil. I could never understand why people hated it so much. I don't read comic books but did it change up the story too much.

spunkee3114328d ago

Agreed. I enjoyed Daredevil as well. Didn't really understand all the hate. Never understood either why they didn't proceed with the sequel when the first made a lot of money.

JL4327d ago

I wouldn't say I loved it, but I definitely didn't hate it. I enjoyed it well enough. Never understood why all the hate either. Was it the best? No. But it wasn't horrible either, I thought.

Hell, I even liked the spin-off, Elektra. But that got ripped apart too for some reason.

dead_eye4327d ago

For me it was one of the better superhero movies made in that time.

YoungKingDoran4328d ago (Edited 4328d ago )

this is just another daredevil movie...
why is being called a reboot?
im sick of this hollywood buzzword

OSIRUSSS4328d ago

Yet no talk of a Spawn reboot? I give up.

JL4327d ago

They are working on a Spawn reboot. It was brought up last year sometime. Last I heard, the script was still being worked on. Todd McFarlane himself is writing the script.

256bit4327d ago

he did the right choice by turning down superman returns. hey anyone seen routh lately?

JL4327d ago

Last I saw him was in Scott Pilgrim and Dylan Dog. Not sure what he's doing next.
