It looks like Paramount has finally learned their lesson the very, very hard way. After scuttling three movies slated for a 2012 release into 2013 -- "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters," "World War Z" and "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" -- it seems studio executives have decided to actually read the script of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," and they don't like what they see. They really don't like it.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
It hasn't been put on indefinite hold. Deadline has updated their article, and Paramount has set a new date for Ninja Turtles. It'll release on May 16, 2014. So it's still on. The push back was for budget concerns.
maybe its a blessing in disguise, micheal bay has already tried to ruin their backstory and making them aliens LOL...i have high hopes that they will do a more gritty origin movie and stay true to its old concept. TMNT have a good story and a lot of cool villains to choose from. the movie done in the right hands will really pay off.
