'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Put On Indefinite Hold To Fix Script, Release Date Pushed Back

The Playlist:
It looks like Paramount has finally learned their lesson the very, very hard way. It hasn't been put on indefinite hold. Deadline has updated their article, and Paramount has set a new date for Ninja Turtles. It'll release on May 16, 2014. So it's still on. The push back was for budget concerns.

The first 2 TMNT movies were my favorite movies of all time when I was younger. The 3rd movie was okay, but I remember being disappointed in many things about it. We were all expecting the Rat King, or the Technodrome, Krang, Rocksteady/Bebop, Leatherhead, Slash....yeah I was a big fan.

maybe its a blessing in disguise, micheal bay has already tried to ruin their backstory and making them aliens LOL...i have high hopes that they will do a more gritty origin movie and stay true to its old concept. TMNT have a good story and a lot of cool villains to choose from. the movie done in the right hands will really pay off.
