Chronicle, May 9 films released in Italian cinemas, is an independent production of a young director of twenty-six years, Josh Trank, who is in his debut. What should be said immediately is that this film is extraordinary, first for the mix of genres within it. Halfway between a drama and a science fiction thriller, at first glance might be mistaken for the usual story that mentions how come three new superheroes. In fact it would have all the credentials to be, except that the protagonists of this film does not have the right stuff.
