Most of them would be too proud to admit they made a potentially career-changing error, but the success of the movies that they opted out of would prove otherwise. Joseph Gordon-Levitt turn down Guardian Of The Galaxy role, he wanted to star in Sin City: Dame To Kill instead. i bet he regret it now after Sin City flop, and GOTG became a success at the box office

I think I could live without Jim Carrey as Captain Sparrow and I bet he could too. He'd be too "on" for the role; not nearly as quietly whimsical as Johnny Depp. Then again, if it had stopped him from making Dumb and Dumber To...

John Travolta as Forrest Gump lol glad that didn't happen.

Will Smith as Neo I would've liked to see. Not a fan of Keanu Reeves acting.

i think the biggest one is michael madsen turning down the movie pulp fiction.

tarintino wrote the role for him but then had to make last minute changes and somehow chose john travolta. that movie must have been travoltas biggest role defining moments.
