While doing an interview for Channel 4 in the UK as part of his press tour for Avengers: Age of Ultron, Robert Downey Jnr. walked out of the interview when the interview began to ask him about his past. Hit the jump and check the interview out for yourself.
Final Destination is a reminder of our mortality.
‘It Follows’ still lurks.
The Parenting Review: It starts off as a fun horror-comedy with a great cast, but loses its charm halfway through. The laughs fade, the scares feel predictable, and by the end, it’s just another forgettable haunted house story.
That interviewer is actually known for being an asshole. I think there is a video of him pissing Quentin Tarantino off too.
"What are doing?"
Like a boss!
I was cringeing lol
You could see RDJ was pissed when the heavy breathing kicked in.
I thought he over stepped the line with Quentin Tarantino, but this was ridiculous. RDJ handled it well considering. He should have went one step further than Quentin and blasted him with his repulsor cannon
At least Pepper was there to save the day and got him out of there.
He makes a political statement SEVEN FREAKING YEARS AGO and it comes up during an interview for the Avengers? Come on. And of course he intentionally follows it up with a question about long past drug use...
That guy must thinks he is Oprah or Dr. Phil, asking about his past mistakes and problems with his father.
I would not have blamed RDJ if he just cold cocked this hack. How does Krishnan Guru-Murthy still have this job?
not sure if the interviewer is ignorant or not, but for an interview like that they would probably have to pay big money for it. these are hollywood stars that are going around the world doing promotional work for the movie studios and themselves. they would not talk about anything big like this because they could write a book about it and sell millions.
what a coincidence that the camera is right at the moment. $50 that this is also a set up "messy" interview to promote the movie. and the artist has every right to cancel the interview being broadcasted, why didn't he? :D
Robert Downey Jr. paid for what he did and I think that's enough to simply let it be. He definitely earned the right to ditch that interview.
I would have walked out way before that. You could tell he was getting to that.
