‘Triple 9’ Trailer: Affleck, Harrelson, Winslet Lead Star-Studded Thriller

Collider:
Open Road has released the first red-band trailer for The Road and Lawless director John Hillcoat’s ensemble thriller Triple 9. Scripted by Matt Cook, the story centers on a group of thieves who plan to murder a cop in order to draw attention away from the heist they’ll be pulling on the other side of town. That central premise isn’t the main focus in this trailer, however, as it instead provides a tonal overview of what looks to be a very dark, very tense crime thriller with an absolutely stacked cast. Kate Winslet appears to be one of the primary antagonistic characters as Casey Affleck fills the role of the protagonist, a new-ish cop who has Woody Harrelson as his mentor.

DAMN! This looks really good. Kate Winslet wouldn't sign on for a bad film would she?

Also, really looking forward to seeing Aaron Paul in this.

Edit: I forgot Kate Winslet was in Divergent. Nevermind. Hopefully thsi is still good though!

And Little Children. :p I think she's earned the right to a few duds though. Her good heavily outweighs her bad. Agree this looks amazing! I can't shake off a disturbed feeling after watching that though.

Those heads on the police hood looked crazy! I'm pumped for this one.
