Paul Thomas Anderson is a well-known writer and director, having earned himself 5 Oscar nominations for “There Will Be Blood”, “Magnolia” and “Boogie Nights”. He is the man behind other famous films as well, like “Hard Eight” and the 2012-year drama “The Master”. The same man, known for creating solid films, although polarizing, is back with another film that seems like a shoe-in for a few Oscar nominations, and it is titled “Inherent Vice”.
The film is based on Thomas Pynchon novel with the same name, where story takes place in 1970, drug-fueled Los Angeles, where detective Doc Sportello investigates the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend.
Testament The Story of Moses Review: The series depicts Moses' journey from an outcast and murderer to a prophet and liberator of the Hebrews. It interweaves docudrama and interviews, to present a more humanly image of the prophet.
Rest In Peace Review: A man in debt disappears. Years later, he considers reconnecting with his family, but his previous life takes him by surprise.
Nerd Reactor writes that a new international post has revealed the return of a fan-favorite Toho monster.
Looks pretty good actually. Can't wait.
This looks like the best work Paul has done.
It's got a comedy vibe to it aswell, usually he just does full on dramas.
