People go out their way to moan but will still watch them.

Pretty much. I always get a kick out of all this doom and gloom for movies people haven't seen yet. Ironically you go into a movie with a frown on your face you are likely to come out with one too.

Are you surprised. Covenant sounds so much like Prometheus like he's trying to, in a sense, remake it into the film it was supposed to be before trying his hardest to not link it as much to the Alien franchise.

Now he's done a 180 and wants it as close to the original Alien as possible.

I'm more annoyed "Alien 5" seems to have been pushed aside when Neil was the one who hyped people up for more Alien films.

At least it's Scott who's doing this. If anyone can save the Alien franchise it's Ridley. The only real good film Neil made was District 9 and it wasn't even THAT good.
