Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
Honestly? No. Western, mobster, musicals all lasted about 30 years at least. Sure there were X-mens, Blades and Supermens but the superhero craze didn't really start untill 2008 with Iron man and The dark knight. We got a while to go. Marvel's got the comedy/light-hearted stuff while DC is tackling their universe in a more serious grounded manner. That diversity will help keep fans and even the general public from losing interest too quickly.
I don't think so, they don't really have much else to offer at the moment. Superheros have been in movies for decades now, so they won't just vanish. People will always love the core hero's.
I think the golden age will last a bit longer, but eventually people will just want the core again. Yet they will stick in because people love them. The "focus" will just move elsewhere.
Yet where will that focus go? Hollywood is somewhat trying to jumpstart toys into movies (Transformers, GI Joe, etc) yet it isn't working out too well. What else will come in and push superheros off their horse? Books have been the core of Hollywood for a while, so even that isn't an option.
I'm loving the Superhero films so far and more to come. Keep them coming, read comic books weekly so a a couple movies release in a years time is great.
Yes. My god, yes. Just look at next year - it's going to be one of the best years in film in a long time precisely because we aren't going to be inundated with a ton of these movies. Only 3 superhero films are scheduled to release: The Avengers, The Fantastic Four reboot, and Ant Man. After next year was are basically going to get 6-7 superhero films a year for the foreseeable future with studios like Disney, Fox, Sony and WB all spending a ton of recourses in hopes of landing the next successful franchise. Many of them will fail.
I would rather see movies like Bond 23, Mad Max, Star Wars,
Mission Impossible 5, Jurassic World, etc. This is what 2015 has in store for us, a nice and diverse lineup of movies.
It's not that I have anything against comic book movies, they are just getting redundant. There are only so many times you can watch a character's origin story. The ones I tend to prefer are the ones that break the mold like Guardians of the Galaxy. Other films like X Men DotFP, Captain America Winter Soldier, The Amazing Spiderman 2. These films were entertaining enough in theaters, but I quickly forgot about them afterwards. They are carefully crafted pieces of cinematic fluff that are designed to appeal to the broadest audience possible. It makes for a nice distraction, but its not very memorable or remarkable.
